CHRISTMAS OUTREACH 2025
We combined our Children’s and Family Christmas Outreaches into one service this year held on Christmas Eve. The congregation gave out invitations to their non-Christian family and friends to attend. And, as in years past, we also emphasized to the children who attend our weekly Children’s Church that they would play a key part in the success of this year’s outreach. We needed them to be proactive in inviting their non-Christian friends to attend our Christmas Outreach to hear the true meaning of Christmas. First, for them to pray who they should invite, and second, asking God to give them favor with them, and most importantly, for God to soften the hearts of those they invite and draw them to the church. We also shared that the 3 children who had the most of their friends attend would receive a special reward. The children followed our instructions and God answered their prayers. We had 105 children attend this year’s Christmas Outreach. Quoc Anh, Thien, and Truc An had a total of 37 of their friends attend. Praise the Lord!
In addition to the 105 children who attended, we had 81 adults in attendance too. The church was packed as we had to set up plastic chairs in the back and some people were sitting outside listening (mainly those who didn’t want to say they were inside the Christian church). Our program included 3 choirs (adult, youth, little ones) singing. Plus, I (Dennis) sang a song in Vietnamese. Khanh gave an inspiring message on why we Christians celebrate Christmas as he presented the Gospel. What joy we had when 51 people stepped forward during our altar call to ask Jesus into their heart as their Lord and Savior. The vast majority of these new believers were children between the ages of 11 and 13. To God be the glory! Each child received a gift bag with a stuffed animal, cookies, candy, soft drink, a small cake, and gospel tracts to take home to their parents. All the adults received a gift bag with a soft drink, small cake, and gospel tracts to read. What a wonderful conclusion to a very fruitful year for the ministry (yours/ours) God has blessed us to reach lost souls for Jesus.
PRAYER REQUEST
Please pray God’s protection on all the new believers from our Christmas Outreach as they face persecution/peer pressure from non-Christian family members and friends for their faith in Jesus. Please pray God will give them the strength to stand firm in their new faith and boldness to share Jesus with those who attack their faith in Him.
Please pray for God to give these new believers a desire to grow in their walk with Him by attending Saturday Children’s Church or Sunday Worship.
Please pray God will fill our 2 orphanage/love houses with children in need of being raised in a loving Christian family environment where they grow up to know and love our Lord Jesus.
How can we thank God enough for you in return for all the joy we have in the presence of our God because of you.” I Thessalonians 3:9 (NIV)

Jesus in Vietnam Ministries, is a compassion ministry founded by Dennis and Mai Spencer. Vietnamese families suffer from deprivation, lacking sometimes even the necessities of life. In obedience to the many Scriptural commands to help the poor they are enabling families to survive in difficult circumstances. When shown mercy these families are very receptive to the Gospel. The Spencer’s also focus on children, who are the future church of Jesus Christ in Vietnam.
