VBS CAMP 2025 PRAISE REPORT

We praise God and thank each of you who prayed and supported us to
hold our 17th VBS Camp last month. God surly answered ALL our
prayers (even with no rain for 3 straight days). The children were
shown and shared the love of Jesus over the 4 days with teaching
from God’s Word on our theme Bible verse of John 3:16.

Each morning, afternoon, and evening session started with group Worship,
a Bible devotion, and then breaking into age group Bible studies. In
addition, throughout each day there were plenty of games and crafts
for the children to play. Plus, they were fed 4 meals a day (children
here want a bowl of soup before bedtime) and plenty of snacks
throughout the day.

The highlight (as always) of our VBS Camp was when 31 children and 7 adults came forward to ask Jesus into their heart as their Lord and Savior. TO GOD BE THE GLORY! And, God blessed us with a “bonus” as 31 people were baptized on the last day of VBS Camp. WHAT AN AWESOME GOD WE SERVE!

VBS CAMP LABOR OF LOVE

We want to especially thank all the kitchen volunteers who prepared and served 4 meals
each day to 148 hungry people. Hard work and long hours in a hot, humid kitchen. All with
smiling faces.

VBS CAMP BY THE NUMBERS

God blessed us with 148 people here on the church property during the 4 days of our
VBS Camp. The breakdown is as follows:
90 Children attended.
11 Pastor Hai and his youth leaders.
23 Adults from Tanh Linh.
24 Binh Chau church volunteers.
Plus, it’s worth praising our Heavenly Father for again:
38 professions of faith.
32 Baptized.
Take joy in knowing God is using your faithful prayers and financial support to
impact many lives for Jesus here in Vietnam.

VBS CAMP FUN AND GAMES

We thank God for blessing us with the space to have a lot of fun games for the children to
play at our VBS Camp, including our soccer field where we held our bonfire one evening.

VBS CAMP BIBLE STUDY CLASSES

We divided the children at our VBS Camp into 3 Bible classes this year (under 7, 7 to 12, and
13 years and older). Some of Pastor Hai’s youth leaders taught the little ones while
Pastor Tu and Deacon Quang taught the 7 to 12-year-old children. Pastor Hai and his youth
leaders taught the older children. All the lessons were Gospel-centered, emphasizing who God is, our disobedience/sinfulness from the beginning, our need for a Savior, who God sent in His Son Jesus. The lessons were structured where non-believers could understand the Gospel and believers strengthened in their ability to share the Gospel.

TANH LINH DISCIPLESHIP CLASSES

Of the 23 adults from Tanh Linh who attended our VBS Camp this year, 19 of them had already asked Jesus into their heart at one of our previous VBS Camps or Christmas Outreaches. This presented a golden opportunity to hold discipleship classes for the group during the 4 days of VBS Camp. During the second day of training all 4 of the non-believing women came forward to ask Jesus into their heart as their Lord and Savior. Praise the Lord!

BABY DEDICATION/BAPTISM

Pastor Tu and his wife Thuong asked us to perform a baby dedication/baptism of their one-month old son, Gia Khuong. We believe this act is more about the parents and the church committing to raise Gia Khuong to know the Lord and God’s Word so at his right age of
understanding of the Gospel, he will be ready to ask Jesus into his heart as his Lord and Savior to receive the gift of Salvation.

PRAYER REQUESTS

Please pray God’s protection from persecution will be on the 38 children and adults who accepted Jesus during our VBS Camp and God will give them a desire to grow in their walk with Him by attending Children’s Church and/or Sunday Worship.

Since our first outreach to the Montagnard village of Tanh Linh almost 3 years ago, around 120 have now asked Jesus into their heart as their Lord and Savior. Please pray God will open the
door for us to be able to disciple these many new believers in Tanh Linh by one of the families there willing to open up their house for small group meetings.

Please pray God will raise up a missionary or missionary couple willing to move to Tanh Linh, be immersed in the community, disciple new believers, and in God’s timing, start a house church there. We are getting ready to start construction on a 2nd orphanage/love house soon. We are in the process of interviewing/getting bids from different contractors (our original contractor was not available to start until much later in the year). Please pray God will give us wisdom and discernment in picking the right contractor who will do quality work at a fair price.

We are still praying and searching for 2 more people to add to the church property
deeds. Please pray God will give us wisdom and lead us to the right people that would
have a heart to oversee God’s work here when the time comes for us to “retire”. Hopefully, many years from now.

“How can we thank God enough for you in return for all the joy we have in the presence of our God because of you.” I Thessalonians 3:9
