VBS CAMP 2025 PREPARATIONS

We are well into our preparations for our 17th annual VBS Camp, which will be held this summer from June 16-19th. We are excited to share we already have 65 children signed up to attend with 17 of them from the Montagnard village of Tanh Linh. We are anticipating another 25-30 children will sign up as we get closer to June. As in previous years, the children will spend 4 days/3 nights at the church (including eating all meals, showering, and sleeping there) in praise and worship, learning and acting out stories in the Bible, memorizing Scriptures, playing Bible educational games, and having lots of fun. Most of all, they will hear the Gospel (whether for the 1st time or many times) as they are reminded of God’s love, mercy, and grace for them through His Son Jesus. Please pray God will draw His children closer to Him and give non-believing children faith in Jesus as their Lord and Savior during our VBS Camp this summer.

VBS CAMP 2025 SPONSORS NEEDED

We praise God and thank each of you who have sponsored a child/children in the past to attend one of our VBS Camps. As in the past few years, our only way to find sponsors for these precious children will be through our newsletter and emails to previous sponsors. The cost to sponsor a child remains the same as last year. To sponsor a child to attend our VBS Camp only, the cost is $75. To sponsor a child to attend our VBS Camp and school through our School Program, the cost is $275. (this total also includes a birthday and Christmas gift for your sponsored child). We ask you to please prayerfully consider sponsoring one or more of these precious children to experience the love of Jesus at VBS Camp and/or the opportunity to attend school for the 2025/26 school year. Donations may be made online at our website (jesusinvietnam.com). We would appreciate an email if God puts it in your heart to sponsor a child or children this year. Thank you for helping us share Jesus with His children.

PRAYER REQUESTS

We have bought our tickets and will be returning to Vietnam on May 13th and staying until January 14, 2026. Staying for 8 months will enable us to serve at our VBS Camp, oversee the construction of our 2nd orphanage/love house, help plan/serve at our Christmas Outreaches, and mentor/encourage our church leadership. Please pray God will grant us wisdom, guidance, and strength to accomplish all He has for us to do all for His glory.

Please pray God will open the door for our vision of planting old time missionaries in towns in Vietnam without a Christian church starting possibly with Tanh Linh.

Please pray God will raise up a person/couple for us to mentor/train about our ministry to Vietnam.

Please pray for God’s protection on our children in our orphanage to stand firm in their faith as they are surrounded by non-Christians in school. May God use them to influence others for Christ.

Please pray God’s protection on each child signed up to attend our VBS Camp this summer from attacks of the enemy, provide the many adult volunteers needed to serve the children, and every child attending will experience the love of Jesus to make this a successful VBS Camp.

We will be starting construction of our 2nd orphanage/love house right after our VBS Camp ends this summer. Please pray God will give us wisdom in our planning and favor where needed for this important and much needed project.

Please continue to pray for healing for Lan, a longtime member of the Binh Chau Church. She has diabetes, high blood pressure, and heart issues.

“How can we thank God enough for you in return for all the joy we have in the presence of our God because of you.” I Thessalonians 3:9

About This Site

Jesus in Vietnam Ministries, is a compassion ministry founded by Dennis and Mai Spencer. Vietnamese families suffer from deprivation, lacking sometimes even the necessities of life. In obedience to the many Scriptural commands to help the poor they are enabling families to survive in difficult circumstances. When shown mercy these families are very receptive to the Gospel. The Spencer’s also focus on children, who are the future church of Jesus Christ in Vietnam. Watch The Video About Jesus In Vietnam Ministries Here
