MATCHING GRANT UPDATE

We praise our Heavenly Father and thank each of you for praying and/or generously giving so we might take full advantage of the matching grant we have been blessed to receive. As of now, we have received 2/3 of the funds needed to maximize this matching grant opportunity. For those of you still seeking God in your year-end giving, we ask you to prayerfully consider giving to our 2nd orphanage/love house building fund so we might begin construction next year. Unfortunately, we have had to turn down taking in more children in the past due to lack of space. This addition would allow us to take in more children to raise in a Christian family environment. Plus, it would give us the opportunity to separate our current girls from the boys as they enter their teenage years. Picture left to right with ages: Loan (housemother), Thien Y (15), Thien (14), Quoc Anh (14), Khiem (13), Xuan (12), Mai (10), Nhu Y (9), Thanh Tin (8), Kien (6), and Kim (6).

PRAY FOR TANH LINH

We are sending a bus to Tanh Linh to bring people to our Family Christmas Outreach. We will pick them up on Christmas Eve morning to spend the day at the church and then attend our Family Christmas Outreach that evening. Please pray God’s protection on each person and the strength to overcome any obstacle the enemy might use to try to stop them from coming. Please pray many will give their heart to the Lord.

PLEASE PRAY FOR DUNG

Dung, a long-time church member, recently was involved in a motorcycle accident. She broke her arm and received many cuts and facial abrasions. We thank God for protecting her from more serious injuries.

ANSWERED PRAYERS

Thank you Jesus! And, thank you for your prayers for Lan as she’s now home recovering

PRAYER REQUESTS

Our Children’s Christmas Outreach will be held on December 21 and our Family Outreach on Christmas Eve. Please pray each member of the Binh Chau church will reach out and invite their non-Christian family, friends, neighbors, classmates to attend to hear the true reason Christians celebrate Christmas.

Please pray God will give those non-Christians attending our Christmas Outreaches this year understanding of the Gospel and many will come forward asking Jesus into their heart. Please pray they will also get connected to the church and attend discipleship classes.

Please pray for all our children in our orphanage to stand firm in their faith as they are surrounded by non-Christians in school. Especially pray for our 2 oldest boys (Thien and Quoc Anh) that they would not fall in to worldly ways, but God would use them to influence others for Jesus.

“How can we thank God enough for you in return for all the joy we have in the presence of our God because of you.” 1 Thessalonians 3:9
