ORPHANAGE/LOVE HOUSE ADDITIONS
Over the last year we have been blessed to have many Vietnamese pastors visit the Binh Chau Church as we searched for a senior pastor to lead the church. We have received so much joy when they tell us they are amazed we have a church building, a sign, a cross, an orphanage/love house, etc. and we get to give God ALL the glory. What an Awesome God we serve! God has also received much praise when these visiting pastors see how we operate our orphanage/love house, by not only providing for their physical needs, but raising them in a Christian family atmosphere where each child is taught God’s Word, the importance of prayer and serving the Lord. Word is beginning to spread and God has used this exposure to bring more children to live in our orphanage/love house. This past month we accepted 5 more children (picture above) and we have 2 more coming in July. This brings our total up to 15 children living in our orphanage/love house and 3 part-time. The grandmother of 3 of our children acquired a small house close to the church and the children have moved back home with her. We still list them as part-time since they spend much of their time at the orphanage/love house with the other children, playing and eating meals together. We thank God for the privilege and blessing He has given us to raise these children to be a part of a new generation to love Him, serve Him, and tell others about His love, mercy, and grace through faith in His Son Jesus. And, we thank each of you for faithfully praying for and supporting God’s work here in Vietnam. He is using each of you to impact His children today and for all eternity. Earlier this year, God provided the funding needed to support the 10 children living in our orphanage/love house at that time for 2019. We have stepped out in faith in taking in these additional children trusting God to provide for them also.
We are in need of an additional $5,000 to be able to meet the needs of these additional children to stay in our orphanage/love house for the rest of 2019.

VBS CAMP JULY 1-4
We just wrapped up our final preparation meeting for our upcoming VBS Camp. We expect around 100 kids to attend and we have 22 adult volunteers to serve the children over these 4 days. Please pray every child will feel and experience the love of Jesus.
YOUTH PRAISE TEAM
We sent 7 of our children staying in our orphanage/love house to Saigon for the month of June to attend a music school. Some learned to play the keyboard, some the guitar, and some drums. 3 of them (picture above) played for us in church this week. By forming a youth praise team, we pray God will use them to draw more young people to Children’s Church. We met a pastor from Dalat who God has given much fruitfulness in this area. He stated teenagers won’t come to church, but they will come for music, even if it’s Christian music.
PASTOR TUAN AND FAMILY
We have truly been blessed to serve alongside Pastor Tuan and his wife, Anh, these last few weeks. They are humble servants of the Lord who have a heart for lost souls. Pastor Tuan’s’ sermons have been both uplifting and encouraging for the congregation. The whole family is musically talented (picture above) and their daughters are already serving alongside our youth leaders at Children’s Church.
PRAYER REQUESTS
Please pray God will use this VBS to strengthen our Christian children in their walk with the Lord and that God will open the minds and hearts of the non-believing children to bring them to ask Jesus into their heart as their Lord and Savior.
Please pray God will give us wisdom, discernment, and clarity for any long term decisions to be made concerning Pastor Tuan and his family serving in the Binh Chau Church (picture above).
When we first built our orphanage/love house, we had to downsize it to meet the requirements of the local officials. However, we had the foundation built to add a 2nd story in the future if needed. Now that God is bringing more children to us, we are in need of more room. We currently have 15 children and 2 housemothers staying in 3 bedrooms. We will need to put additional bunk beds in the living room for now. Please pray God will give us favor with the local contractor and officials as we begin to explore the addition of a 2nd story to be able to separate the boys from the girls. Please pray God will provide a spiritual housemother for our orphanage/love house children also.

Jesus in Vietnam Ministries, is a compassion ministry founded by Dennis and Mai Spencer. Vietnamese families suffer from deprivation, lacking sometimes even the necessities of life. In obedience to the many Scriptural commands to help the poor they are enabling families to survive in difficult circumstances. When shown mercy these families are very receptive to the Gospel. The Spencer’s also focus on children, who are the future church of Jesus Christ in Vietnam.
