CHRISTMAS OUTREACHES 2015
“I will praise you, Lord my God, with all my heart; I will glorify your name forever.” Psalm 86:12

Since God first put it in our heart to hold our first Christmas Evangelistic Outreach at the Binh Chau Church in 2008, we have seen our Heavenly Father draw more and more people to the church to hear the true meaning of Christmas. From 60 people in 2008 to over 300 people attending in both 2013 and 2014. The last 2 years many could not get inside the church as it’s capacity is around 150. We praise God for this problem and His guidance in having us hold 2 different Christmas Outreaches this year, one for non-Christian families and another for our Children’s Church kids and their non-Christian friends. Then our brothers and sisters in Christ who attend our church plant in Suoi Bang asked if they could hold a Christmas Outreach there. We immediately said yes as God brought several of these families from Suoi Bang to Jesus at last years Christmas Outreach in Binh Chau. After much preparation and plenty of prayers, God gave us 3 wonderful Christmas Outreaches. After 2 days of rain, He even gave us dry weather for our first Christmas Outreach in Suoi Bang, which was to be held outside. The local government had been closely tracking our church plant in Suoi Bang (even saying we couldn’t meet at one of the houses) so God put it in our (Dennis and Mai) heart not to attend this outreach. However, we did arrive early to pray with our brothers and sisters in Christ for the outreach. After our prayers, God presented Mai the opportunity to share the Gospel with a non-believer who came early. Praise God as Hung, an older lady, prayed to ask Jesus into her heart. Our intent was to leave after this, but they insisted we share a meal together, which we did. Then we returned to Binh Chau as Pastor Nhan oversaw the outreach that was attended by around 35-40 people, with several of these families also attending our second outreach at the Binh Chau Church on Christmas Eve. The decision to have 2 outreaches in Binh Chau instead of 1 worked out well with everyone attending being able to sit inside the church to enjoy the programs. The choirs sang beautifully and the youth performed their skit on the birth of Jesus flawlessly. Pastor Nhan prepared an excellent program where he was able to share throughout theses 2 outreaches the story of Creation, the Fall of Man, and our need for a Savior. What a blessing to be there to see so many non-believers focused on hearing the Good News. Through the Holy Spirit, we could feel God working in the heart of so many present. What joy God gave us when 24 people came forward (pictures above left family outreach and above right children’s outreach) at the altar call to ask Jesus into their heart. Cam On Chua (Thank You Lord)! And then, God used Mai to lead a young teenage boy from Suoi Bang to the Lord right after the children’s outreach was over. Chua La Toc Lanh (God is Good) Muoi Luc Muoi Noi (All the Time)!

Through our 3 Christmas Outreaches, over 300 people heard the Gospel, enjoyed a fellowship meal together, and close to 200 children received a Christmas gift (picture below of 1 group). Of course, those receiving the greatest gift of all were the 26 people who asked Jesus into their heart. To God be the glory!

CHILDREN OF PROMISE UPDATE
Another blessing was being able to spend the last 3 months with Lan, Viet, and Yen (picture above) at the orphanage/love house. They are all very sweet kids and it’s remarkable to witness the changes God is making in them, especially with Viet. With a “street tough” attitude from being on the streets at age 7, God is peeling back the layers one day at a time to reveal a loving little boy underneath. We show them the love of Jesus, teach them God’s Word, and let Him do the rest. What an amazing God we serve.

PRAYER REQUESTS
Please pray God will provide a Youth Pastor for the Binh Chau Church and a Vietnamese missionary to oversee the Suoi Bang church plant.

Please pray God will provide a housemother for the Children of Promise as He fills it with His children.

Please pray God will draw all those who asked Jesus into their heart at the Christmas Outreaches to church so they might grow in their walk with the Lord.

PRAISE REPORT
Praise God as we now have 4 children sponsored for 2016 to stay at the orphanage/love house.

We thank God for allowing us to spend 6 months in Binh Chau in 2015 and be your witnesses of His love and mercy He pours out for His children (young and old) in Vietnam. We thank God for each of you who faithfully pray and support His work in Vietnam. We pray God will bless you abundantly in 2016 for all you do to further His Kingdom.
