CHILDREN CELEBRATING CHURCH VAN

PRAISE GOD! WE HAVE A VAN!
We praise God for all of you who have faithfully prayed over the last 2 years for God to provide us a van to be able to safely transport the children to/from Saturday Children’s Church each week. Plus, to be used for Sunday Worship and other church programs. We are so excited to share with you God has answered our (yours/ours) prayers and we were able to purchase a used van (picture above) for the Binh Chau Church. Some laws changed which made it feasibly and financially possible for us to buy a good used van. Besides providing much more safety for the children, it will save us a whole bunch of time being able to transport so many more on each trip. We used the van this past Saturday for the first time and it made such a difference. The last 2 Saturdays we have received a lot of rain. The first Saturday we had 61 kids at Children’s Church due to the difficulty picking them up in the rain by motorcycle. However, this last Saturday the van pretty much eliminated the rain effect and we had 84 kids in attendance. We thank God for you who donated funds for the van. The children are so excited. To God be the glory!

ENJOYING THE NEW CHURCH VAN

SUOI BANG UPDATE
We attended the Suoi Bang Sunday Worship recently (picture below) with another standing room only. The room we meet in is only 6’ by 9’ so some have to sit outside in the dark. Please pray we will be able to extend this room out to meet the needs of all who attend or would like to attend. We praise God we are able to meet quietly at the Ba Quang’s house. However, in order to reach a large number of the remaining 169 families in Suoi Bang and establish a church long term, we need to plant a Vietnamese missionary and his family in Suoi Bang. One that would blend in with the community, show the love of Jesus, and take advantage of the opportunities God gives them to share the Gospel. Plus, he would take over the Sunday Worship service and Discipleship classes in Suoi Bang and Discipleship classes in Tan Thang. We need someone who can devote all their time to evangelizing in these two towns. Over time we would move the house church from the Ba Quang’s house to the missionary’s house. Once the missionary family is deeply rooted in the community and the church is built up, it’s a much easier path to petition the government for permission to meet officially. Praise God as we have now found a Vietnamese missionary and his family who are willing to go to Suoi Bang. Please pray God will supply the funds needed to bring this family to Suoi Bang and establish His church and orphanage there through this family.

FULL HOUSE FOR WORSHIP

NEW BUILDING STARTS
After a few more meetings with the contractor, it has become clear that Caesar will not sign off on our petition to build another building. However, the local authorities have told our contractor they will look the other way if we start. They also stated once we start, Caesar at the province level might stop construction (at least for a couple of days) and fine us. After much prayer we are going to move forward and trust God to remove any obstacles the enemy puts in our way. The last few days we have had truckloads of rock, sand, bricks, and metal delivered. Today (picture below) workers arrived to start construction. We scaled down the building to a little under half the original size, but it will still allow us room for 12-16 children. We are hoping the new building will be completed in 2 months.

CONSTRUCTION STARTS

MORE ANSWERED PRAYER

Elder Truong and his family have been here for almost 2 months and we thank God for sending us a family with such a servant’s heart. They have been really accepted well by the congregation. They are very humble and both have a heart to serve. Elder Truong is overseeing the youth on Saturday night and preaching 2 Sundays a month. Caesar originally approved elder Truong’s application for temporary residence in Binh Chau, but now they are trying to renege on it. They want him to start the process over and go through the province officials.

PRAYER REQUESTS
Please pray God will remove any obstacles the enemy puts before us in seeing the new building built by giving us favor with Caesar.

Please pray God will give us wisdom and discernment in the direction to take in resolving Elder Truong’s residence status in Binh Chau.

Please pray God will raise up a couple to serve in the Binh Chau church teaching children’s Sunday School.

PRAISE REPORT
Three days ago one of the ladies who attends Sunday evening Worship in Suoi Bang was bitten by a poisonous snake that had made it’s way into her bathroom. When her husband took her to the hospital the doctors told him they had no anti-venom for this snake. However, they had 2 shots they could give her that might save her life if she didn’t have an allergic reaction to them. Without the shots she would certainly die and with them she could still die (allergic reaction). Her husband gave the ok for the shots trusting in God to save his wife. Praise the Lord as she didn’t have any allergic reaction. She is feeling better today and on her way to recovery. We give God all the honor, glory, and praise for His love and mercy.
