Binh Chau VBS 2014 Day 1

by Dennis & Mai Spencer | June 24th, 2014

Dear Friends,

It’s 9:50 pm and day 1 of VBS 2014 is officially over and all the kids are tucked away under their blankets (don’t think they’re all asleep yet though). The day started with our alarm going off at 5 am and didn’t stop until a few minutes ago. It was a long day, but very rewarding as we had 119 kids here today. Some of the kids we were told would be here tomorrow that weren’t able to make it today. Thank you for your prayers as the day went well. We even had a little rain, but not heavy enough to disrupt anything. Just enough to cool it off some.

Our comments are brief tonight as we will let the pictures do the talking for us. In fact, we are sending a second email with just pictures as we had a hard time narrowing them down. Thank you all again for lifting all the kids at VBS, the adult volunteers, and us up before the Lord. God rewarded your faithfulness today as 5 people (2 adults and 3 teenagers) accepted Jesus as their personal Lord and Savior. God is so good!!!!

Love,

Dennis and Mai

About This Site

Jesus in Vietnam Ministries, is a compassion ministry founded by Dennis and Mai Spencer. Vietnamese families suffer from deprivation, lacking sometimes even the necessities of life. In obedience to the many Scriptural commands to help the poor they are enabling families to survive in difficult circumstances. When shown mercy these families are very receptive to the Gospel. The Spencer’s also focus on children, who are the future church of Jesus Christ in Vietnam. Watch The Video About Jesus In Vietnam Ministries Here
